Yamaha YFL-262 Features & Specs

1

Open-Hole

Open holes are found on instruments made for more advanced players, while closed hole keys, sometimes called plateau keys, are standard on most student flutes.

2

Silver-Plated

Like most student flutes from quality brands, the YFL262 is constructed from nickel silver and then finished with real silver plating to enhance the tonal quality

3

C-Foot

C-foot joints are common on student flutes and contain one fewer key than B-foot joints, which tend to be found on more advanced instruments

4

Offset G

The Yamaha YFL-262 has on offset G-key which is great for smaller hands. Even many adult players find offset G-keys preferrable to in-line G-keys because they are easier to reach and lessen hand strain.

5

Warranty

New Yamaha flutes include a 5-year manufacturer's limited warranty. Used instruments are backed by Music For Rent's exclusive 5-year limited warranty
