Features & Specs

1

Student Level

Student saxophones are built to offer value to beginners and are built for smaller players, but because of this lack subtleties and better intonation of professional saxophones which have better brass, more expensive parts, and proper key positioning. Intermediate instruments are a hybrid, combining proper key positioning, intonation and playability of pro horns with less expensive parts to help keep prices lower.

2

Gold Lacquered Brass Body

Gold lacquer is the standard finish for saxophones. Other finishes can include clear lacquer, different colored lacquers, raw brass, and even precious metals like silver and gold on professional models. Pro models can also have elaborate engraving and jewelry features.

3

Nickel Plated Keys

Student saxophones traditionally have nickel plated keys that are silver in color. Intermediate and professional saxophones typically have gold lacquer keys but can have a variety of finishes, engraving, and jewelry features.

4

Other Specs

Key of Bb (B flat) alto saxophone, tilting table keys, plastic tone boosters, straight neck, leather pads, blue steel springs, high F key, adjustable thumb rest.

5

Case & Supplies

This Jupiter tenor saxophone includes a durable case and a starter kit containing essential maintenance and accessory items. Everything you need to get started is included.

6

10-Year Warranty

New Jupiter tenor saxophones include a 10-year manufacturer's limited warranty. All used instruments are backed by Music For Rent's exclusive 5-year limited warranty.
